PASSENGER AIRCRAFT CAPACITY
Boeing 757-200
In a passenger configuration the Boeing 757-200 series holds up to 239 passengers in a high density all-economy layout (FAA Limit, 4 door layout), but more typically operators have around 200 seats in an all-economy configuration, or around 170 to 200 seats in a typical 2-class layout. The maximum known seating configuration in current service is 235 seats.

There is no determined "rule" as to how an operator chooses to configure their aircraft, and part of the descision will be based on the door configuration and desired galley / lavatory locations, not to mention the seat pitch. The table below shows some current known airline seating layouts, with links to seat plans where available.

Boeing 757-300

LOWER DECK (UNDERFLOOR) CARGO CAPACITY
Boeing 757-200 / -300
Both passenger and package frieghter 757-200 aircraft have lower deck (underfloor) cargo capacity. The Boeing 757-300, which was only ever built in a passenger version, also has this capacity.

The 757-200 has a maximum lower deck cargo capacity of 51 cubic metres (1,790 cubic feet).
The 757-300 has a maximum lower deck cargo capacity of 67.5 cubic metres (2,382 cubic feet).

 
PACKAGE FREIGHTER CARGO CAPACITY
Boeing 757-200(PF)
The Boeing 757-200 Package Freighter has a total main freight deck capacity of 187 cubic metres (6,600 cubic feet). This is in addition to the lower deck (underfloor) cargo capacity referred to above.
